Marriage brings a new set of personal life needs that may require changes in your benefit plans. Here are some issues to consider:

Medical/Dental/Vision – You may enroll your new spouse and/or your other dependents. You may change your medical plan if you move into or out of the POS service area as a result of your marriage. 

Death/Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage – You may wish to change your beneficiary. 

Disability Insurance – No effect on this benefit. 

Pension Plans – Your new spouse will automatically be your beneficiary unless he/she consents to your naming someone else as your beneficiary. 

Address/Personal Information – Be sure to update your address and personal information, including beneficiary designation, to reflect any changes. 

W-4 – You may change the number of tax exemptions on your W-4.
